The Opportunity //
Andrea Hammer is a certified expert in fitness, nutrition, health & wellness, exercise science, and Black Belt in Tai Kwan Do. When Andrea decided to add “Fitness Entrepreneur” to her resume, she knew exactly who to call.
Andrea reached out to Mitch Carlin with an idea. She was frustrated by many of the common fitness accessories you’d find at the gym. Dumbbells are limited to certain strength movements, but not completely versatile for all types of movements and balance. They don’t require much balance or mindful movement. Andrea believed there was a market for something better…something more versatile, adaptable, and effective.
Mitch agreed. Shortly thereafter, The MaxPAC® was born.
The Approach //
Mitch worked with Andrea from start to finish. Early in the process, Mitch guided Andrea quickly through the product development process and helped her secure a product patent.
Then, they focused on making The MaxPAC the polar opposite of traditional fitness machines and training accessories on the market; targeting many of the common complaints surrounding standard use gym equipment.
The MaxPAC® is flexible and can be used across a variety of workout genres or styles. It has a rectangular design for all the variable ways you can use it. Its material won’t crack, chip, fade or lose shape. It has rounded edges that are soft and comfortable to grip, squeeze, hold, and press. It comes in 3 different weights and sizes for all fitness levels, is hypoallergenic, cleans easily, and won’t absorb sweat or odors.
The Results //
The MaxPac is now sold at The Pentagon and used for core strengthening and training exercises for members of the United States military!
